In the past couple of days I have received a number of phone calls regarding the core support mount on the Crown Vics. I am not sure why, our position on this has not changed... ever.
So, once more, for the record
THE CORE SUPPORT MOUNT MAY NOT BE RELOCATED, REINFORCED OR REWELDED. IT MUST BE IN THE STOCK LOCATION AND CONDITION.
We have worked very hard to develop a schematic of these frames... square to 03 and newer... where holes should be.. how many holes should be there, measurements from hole to hole.
We take this very seriously, you should, too.
